Come see Miradas: Ancient Roots in Modern and Contemporary Mexican Art Works from the Bank of America Collection. This exhibition of 95 works celebrates work by artists on both sides of the border–American and Mexican-American–to reveal cultural aspects as they emerged in the years after the Mexican Revolution.

Some of the artist in this exhibition include: Diego Rivera, Gabriel Orozco, David Alfaro Siqueiros, Judithe Hernandez and Luis Jimenez Jr.

We will discuss: the Mexican Revolution (and events before and after), aspects of Contemporary Art, the roles of the Mexican Muralists in uniting Mexico after the Revolution

Admission: $3 per student ages 6+ (PFAC members free), $6 per adult, children 5 and under free.
Homeschool Day Schedule: 11:00-11:45AM guided tour of the exhibition. Self-led familiy activities include: a scavenger hunt, HOFK art area and outdoor building activities (weather permitting).
